2026.9.5 patients can reply again, and the funnel report shows what your team decided
A release that closes a door that should never have been open. Since the 8 September release, a patient who opened a message from your clinic and pressed Reply landed on a "403 Forbidden" page with no way back, and so did a prospect who pressed New Message. Both work again. Alongside that, the referral funnel report now shows what your coordinators actually decided beside what the referral letter claimed.
Replying from the patient portal works again
A patient reading a message from your clinic in the patient portal can open the reply editor and answer, as they always could. Between 8 and 14 September, pressing Reply ended on a "403 Forbidden, Go to the homepage" page instead. A prospect who pressed New Message met the same page.
Anyone who hit this could not answer your clinic through the portal at all. If a patient told your team they couldn't reply during that week, this was why, and it is worth checking whether anything they were trying to say reached you another way.
A prospect who signs in through their referral link now also gets the same composer a patient gets, your clinic team as a list to pick from and a plain text box, rather than the staff version.
The funnel report shows the decision, not just the claim
On the referrals funnel report, the Routed-to-physician and Reasons panels now each have an after-review twin beside them: the physician and the reasons recorded on the prospect once a coordinator has reviewed the referral. The letter's claim and your clinic's decision sit on one screen, so you can see where they differ.
Two counting corrections come with it:
- Referrals rejected as duplicate re-sends are counted on their own line rather than folded in with everything else.
- The period-over-period trend stays blank instead of showing a misleading jump when the earlier period reaches back before your clinic's first referral.
Physician names are also resolved to one spelling per doctor again. Since the end of August, every name was kept exactly as first seen, so a single physician could appear under several spellings in the Routed-to-physician chart and its filter. Existing charts read correctly again.
AI Scribe: documents, and a tidier chart tab
In AI Scribe, a document written from a session (a letter, a summary) can be copied straight from its tab, and closed from it when it isn't wanted. A closed document leaves the list but is kept for audit.
The chart's Scribe tab folds away recordings that were discarded, failed, or were never started, so the list shows the sessions that matter. A recording that holds no audio can be removed from the chart outright.
The note page now names the patient the way the chart does, with the same back button, links back to the chart, and says the kind of visit. The chart card names the kind of visit on a chip beside Start recording, and remembers the last choice.
Two rough edges are gone: pressing Discard in the first seconds of a recording no longer produces "An error has occurred!" and a stuck recorder, and the sentence callout steps aside as soon as the clinician types and has a close control.
Smaller things
- The AI Assistant numbers on a clinic's Analytics page are that clinic's own, and a request for another clinic's numbers is refused. Where the reporting key differs from your clinic's name, Fertiligent sets it for you. Ask support; it is not a setting in the portal.
- The guided tour no longer ends on a generic error dialog on the first visits after a release.
