2026.9.4 the tab keeps your clinic's name, a returned prospect can come back, and the Scribe note reads like a note

A release about things being where you expect them. The browser tab shows your clinic's name and icon from the first moment instead of flicking through the product name; a referral that looks like a re-send is flagged where it cannot be missed; a prospect who was returned or withdrawn and has since come back can be reopened; and the Scribe note is now ordinary prose you edit by clicking into it.

The browser tab keeps your clinic's name and icon

Opening your clinic's site used to cycle the tab through several names ("ClientelePortal", then the platform name, then your clinic) while the page loaded, with the wrong icon showing until the server answered, and the clinic's name fell off the tab after the first click. Some people saw it on every visit.

The tab now shows your clinic's name and icon from the first moment and keeps them. On a return visit both are remembered from the last one, so they are there before the page has finished loading. A replaced clinic logo or icon (under Branding) now reaches every browser, including the sign-in page and the icon a phone saves to its home screen, and saving the branding settings without choosing a new icon no longer re-uploads the old one.

A referral that looks like a re-send is flagged where it cannot be missed

When a referral appears to be a re-send of one you already have, its page in Referrals now opens with a warning banner that names the earlier referral, and a Reject as duplicate button that records the reason for you. In the inbox, the Possible duplicate label shows first instead of being folded into "+N more".

A returned or withdrawn prospect can come back

A prospect marked Returned or Withdrawn who has since come back can be reopened from their record. A new cycle begins, the earlier one stays in the timeline, and booking is allowed again.

The Scribe note reads like a note

In the Scribe, each section of the note is now a paragraph of prose, with a small mark at the end of any sentence that needs checking and the reason on hover: instead of three lines of annotation under every sentence. Placing the cursor in a sentence opens a small panel beneath it that says in plain words what the check found ("Nobody said this", "A number here isn't in the line it cites") what to do about it, and the transcript lines it rests on, with buttons to remove the sentence or ask about it.

The note is edited by clicking into it and typing, like any text editor. Changes are saved when you leave the section; what you wrote is marked as yours with a small hollow dot and is never flagged red, and what you left alone keeps its link to the transcript. On a wide screen the measurements taken during the visit sit beside the note, and say so when the note has been edited since they were read from it.

The note screen holds only the note. Speakers, transcript, context and earlier drafts each have their own tab, and "Ask about this session" is a single line at the foot of the page whose answers open as tabs beside the note. The page shows the visit date and the language the recording was transcribed in, and the review reads as a document: sections laid out by kind, the document type named, and a one-line attestation.

Documents in a chosen language

Documents written from the session (patient letters, referral letters, summaries) are written in a chosen language, and any document can be rewritten in another language from its own tab. Four more templates are available: a referral letter, a letter to the family physician, a work-up letter to the patient, and a consent discussion.

The transcript, the cited lines and the speakers line show the assigned role (Clinician, Patient) instead of the recorder's speaker labels, and when the recording identified the speakers with confidence the note shows one quiet line ("Speakers: Clinician, Patient, matched automatically") with a Wrong? link instead of asking for confirmation every time. Each sentence records who it is about (the patient, their partner or the couple) and shows a small label when it is not the patient.

The consent dialog is shorter: the read-aloud microphone check has left it. Instead the recording indicator shows a live level ring, and if the microphone hears nothing for ten seconds the dock says so and offers the device picker. Consent can also be recorded once per patient, so a returning patient starts a recording from the chart without the dialog, one line per consented person, with Withdraw beside it. That is off by default; ask us to switch it on for your clinic.

Lines from the conversation that the note did not cover are marked on the transcript, with a count at the top. Follow-up actions carry a category (order, coordinate, communicate, document, cycle) and can name a cycle-relative window such as day 6 to 12 of the next cycle. The speech recogniser now knows several hundred fertility terms (HSG, SIS, hysteroscopy, TESE and the like) so they land in the transcript spelled correctly.

Emails to patients

The notification a patient receives when a message is waiting for them in the patient portal has been reworked so it reads as what it is and not as something a spam filter should hold back:

  • It greets the patient by first name, and its subject reads "Jane, you have a new message". The words "secure message" are gone; they were the phrase filters object to.
  • It says a new message is waiting in their patient portal, shows the sign-in address beside the button, and says who sends it on whose behalf: instead of "Someone sent you a message". The plain-text version has its links back.
  • A patient who has not yet read the last such email is not sent another one when a further message arrives. The next one goes once they have read it, or after a day.
  • Patient notifications can leave from a dedicated address, Patient Messaging, on a sending domain reserved for patient mail, kept apart from staff mail, and their delivery reports (delivered, bounced, filtered as spam) are recorded so a message that never arrived can be traced. This is switched on per clinic.

Conversations

In the Conversations reply box, when a person can be reached by email or the portal but no conversation exists there yet, the box now offers Start a conversation by Email (or by Portal) instead of a greyed-out row that sent you to another screen. Switching a reply to Email or Portal now looks at the person's whole history rather than only the messages on screen, so an older email thread is found and a second one is not started by mistake.

Verified monitoring values reach the patient

Verifying a monitoring value also releases it to the patient portal in the same act, so a verified value reaches the patient's timeline, their cycle view and the patient assistant. Values verified before this release are released too. In the portal, an out-of-range flag on a value is shown to the patient only after a clinician has verified it; until then the entry reads "recorded and being reviewed".

Smaller fixes

  • The in-app assistant can now answer questions about the Scribe: consent, speakers, templates, review and signing. It had nothing to say about it before.
  • Scribe: a sentence typed into the note no longer shows twice on screen after saving. The saved note was right; the screen was not.
  • Scribe: a sentence that says the same thing as the transcript in different words is no longer headed "These lines do not support the statement", and who each sentence is about is now filled in for nearly every sentence.
  • Scribe: the note's action bar no longer overlaps the page footer, and the document language menu opens where it can be seen.
  • Text messages: when a carrier's delivery report cannot be matched to a message, that is now recorded, so a missing Delivered mark can be traced.
  • Email: the unsubscribe link no longer breaks the link between a sent email and the conversation it belongs to.
