Eva, the patient companion
Eva is Fertiligent's patient-facing AI companion. You embed her on your clinic website or patient portal, and she greets visitors, answers their questions, helps them take the next step, and hands off to your team when a person is needed — 24/7, in the visitor's own language.

What Eva does
- Answers questions from your knowledge base. Eva responds using the materials you've curated for your clinic — services, pricing, hours, FAQs, policies — and nothing else. If she can't find a confident answer, she says so and points the visitor to your team rather than guessing. See Knowledge base for how those answers are curated.
- Shows appointment availability. When enabled, Eva can surface open appointment slots so a visitor can see when your clinic is available. See Scheduling & booking.
- Captures new prospects. A visitor can chat anonymously; when they share their details, Eva turns the conversation into a prospect for your team to follow up on. See Referrals workflow for how prospects move through outreach.
- Helps with intake. Eva can collect structured intake information from a prospective patient and pass it to your team.
- Starts a message to your staff. When a visitor needs a person, Eva can open a conversation that lands in your messaging inbox.
- Shares documents. Eva can surface documents you've made available to patients.
A companion, not a clinician
Eva is designed to support your care team, not replace it. She provides general information and guidance and helps visitors take the next step, but she does not make clinical decisions. Anything she collects — a prospect's details, an intake answer, a request for a person — is handed to your staff to act on. A human always stays in the loop.
Languages
Eva communicates in 12 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, Hebrew, and Arabic. She detects and replies in the visitor's language automatically.
Personality and appearance
You control how Eva looks and sounds from the portal — no code changes. For your clinic you can set:
- Name and greeting — what she's called and how she opens a conversation.
- Appearance — the avatar and scene shown in the widget.
- Voice — her pace, warmth, and energy.
- Communication style — how much empathy, formality, and encouragement she brings to a conversation.
Eva also inherits your clinic's logo, colors, and name from your branding settings, so she matches the rest of your site.
Shareable video messages
Beyond the live widget, your team can compose personalized avatar video messages — for example a warm welcome or a follow-up — and share them with a link. Messages can be recorded in any of the supported languages, each with a compatible voice.
Privacy
Visitors talk to Eva anonymously by default. A conversation only becomes a prospect record when the visitor chooses to share their details. Eva answers only from the materials you've curated, which keeps her responses grounded in your clinic's own information.
Availability
Eva is enabled per clinic, and individual capabilities — knowledge answers, availability, intake, and voice — can each be turned on or off for your clinic. If you don't see Eva in your portal, ask your Fertiligent contact to enable it for your plan.
